NORFOLK RETREAT
SUMMER SOLSTICE 19th — 22nd June 2026
LET’S CELEBRATE
Join me for a weekend retreat in the North Norfolk countryside over the weekend of Summer Solstice!
A deeply intentional weekend of celebration through the rituals of daily devotional practice, including yoga, somatic practices, dance, song and circle.
The weekend will culminate with a solstice stone circle ceremony and outdoor sound bath experience, held by guest ceremonial circle practitioner.
Drop into this spacious solstice portal in the Norfolk countryside, with on-site heated swimming pool and sauna available all weekend, countryside walks, and the North Norfolk coast a hop, skip and a jump away.
What to expect…
-
Think slow mornings with a quiet cup of tea or coffee, sit and journal or take a peaceful stroll.
We will gather for our morning practice in the barn with the light pouring in. Starting with a slow subtle body tune-in through somatic meditation and breath awareness, before a movement / yoga practice.
-
Our daily practices will explore the body and movement through somatic felt-sense awareness and connection.
My classes prioritise giving you agency over your body and choices and emphasise sensing, feeling, and moving from subtle-body attunement.
It’s my intention to always guide you to tune into the language and wisdom of your body. I encourage movement and yoga postures /āsana/ to arise from a depth of awareness that enables the body to move organically, with an emphasis on moving in ways that attune to your own internal rhythms and your unique movement signature.
-
Can you imagine anything more incredible than three daily meals cooked for you by our fabulous Norwich based private chef Chloe, of Adventures of The Nomadic Chef.
Meals outside when the sun is shining or around our big indoor table. Communal dining and post-practice chats with your fellow yogis.
On the Sunday we will have an early evening solstice FEAST - think outdoor Summer Roast/BBQ, before an evening of ritual and celebration.
Teas & coffees available throughout the day.
-
On Sunday evening we will celebrate with a solstice stone circle ceremony around the stone ruins, and outdoor sound bath experience held by guest ceremonial practitioner.
Ceremony and ritual will be threaded through the whole weekend, with guided journaling prompts, ceremonial cacao and chanting circles.

"Marie’s classes are a wonderfully liberating experience, an opportunity to give the body freedom to speak by extending beyond the poses. She’s a fantastic teacher, she speaks from the heart and her passion and experience shines through. She’s also deeply intuitive.”
